It is a very versatile pass because it allows those who purchase it to choose between two options: the 72-hour Roma Pass and the 48-hour Roma Pass.   • The 72-hour Roma Pass

This is the most complete Roma Pass, which covers 72 hours of stay in the city of Rome that will start from the moment of the first activation. With only 58.50 euros it will be possible to access all the following points of interest, discounts and activities:

  • The first 2 museums/archaeological sites/experiences included – For the booking method of the Colosseum, Galleria Borghese, Sistema Musei di Roma Capitale, Maxxi, Museo Nazionale Romano, Terme di Caracalla and Palazzo Valentini Domus Romane consult this link.
  • Reduced-rate admission starting from the 3rd museum/archaeological site/experience visited
  • Unlimited free access, for the entire validity of the Card, to the urban public transport network
  • Discounts and special prices for exhibitions, attractions and affiliated tourist services, including Insideat experiences (you can consult the sections UNUSUAL ROUTES, ATTRACTIONS and TOURIST SERVICES of the Roma Pass website at these links).
  • Dedicated booking method for museums/archaeological sites
  • Free access to the supervised toilets of the P.Stop network

It is worth specifying that free or reduced-price admission to the first 2 museums and/or archaeological sites and/or experiences of your choice also includes any special exhibitions at the museum.

But how do you use the Roma Pass? Let’s see together how to use it:

  • Once the card has been collected, fill in the section on the back relating to the name, surname and activation date;
  • The validity will be 72 hours starting from the first access to the museum/site/experience and/or the first validation on public transport;
  • It is important to remember that the 72-hour Roma Pass Card must be validated upon first use on public transport, even if it has already been activated at the first museum;
  • From the 3rd site onwards, the discount is recognized directly by presenting the Card at the ticket office;
  • The 72-hour Roma Pass Card must always be shown upon request by the control staff, together with a valid identity document;
  • The card is contactless and therefore physical insertion into the reader is not required but simply approaching it is sufficient;
  • In the event of card malfunction, the customer must go to one of the Infopoints to have the card checked and replaced if necessary.

 

  • The 48-hour Roma Pass 

This is a Roma Pass dedicated to those who have planned to stay in the Capital for only two days. The 48 hours of validity will start from the moment of first activation. With only 36.50 euros it will be possible to access all the following points of interest, discounts and activities:
